Bridging the Racial Gap, Correcting Colorism, & Discussing the Injustices Among Women

Listen Later

Not liking someone because of their skin color is nothing new. If you were to read Numbers 12:1 reads, "Miriam and Aaron began to talk against Moses because of his Cushite wife, for he had married a Cushite." A Cushite is from Cush, a region south of Ethiopia, where the people are known for their black skin. Women have always been seen as less than in society. It was hard for women to own businesses, vote, and have a voice to speak.

So why are we as women still fighting against one another? Do we not realize that we must be our greatest allies. Why do we fear and hate what we don't understand? It is high time for us to come together and get some understanding, show empathy and compassion for one another, and ultimately love ourselves enough to love our sisters that don't look like what we see in the mirror.

This is some Truthful tea you must sip on.
