Juli Grigsby is a professor of Anthropology. She specializes in Race and Ethnicity, Gender and Sexuality, Violence, African Diaspora, Economic and Social Inequalities, Crime, Health Disparities, U.S. Social Movements, Women’s Health and Community Organizing , Black Feminist Theory, and Critical Race Theory.

Brido met her at a party. They started talking about hot button issues in both of their professions.Eventually there was a bit of a crowd gathering. Because people wanted to hear what she had to say about this stuff. And she was great at explaining it. So Brido asked her if she’d come on the show. She's awesome.
