Bright.md Raises $8M in Series C Funding
Bright.md, a Portland, Oregon-based healthcare automation company, closed an $8m Series C round of funding.
The round, which brought total funding raised to date to $20.5m, was co-led by B Capital and Seven Peaks Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand the presence and function of its AI-powered, virtual-care platform SmartExam, and to new markets; and increase headcount.
Led by Ray Costantini, M.D., co-founder and CEO, Bright.md provides its SmartExam™ capacity-boosting care-delivery platform to hospitals and healthcare systems across the United States and Canada.
