  • A Love Supreme
Just in time for the Love Supreme Jazz Festival here in London, I was asked to do a lloong mix!! The place is named Goodman (after the jazz musician Benny Goodman)...so I dug out some nuggets accordingly!! It moves on a jazzy, orchestral vibe, first thru 60's and 70's inspired stuff, Brazillian, Tokyo, Afro-Beat, NeoSoul, Acid Jazz, Downtempo and later on to some Latin, Broken Beat, House, even a bit of Drum n Bass!! As always, I reprazent my Fierce Females to the fullest! and all the mixes are done live. It was also my first foray into Ableton for the (minimal) editing process! Watch this space for the Soul/Funk/R&B/House mix currently in the works! Enjoy!! Raysha Ray

  • LONDON LIVIN
MsManya and I live in different countries now! Although the Faded Twins are far apart, we are still deeply linked thru our lives and on the dancefloorI It's cosmic! London has had a massive effect on how I'm playing! This mix shows I can open for the hyphy DJ while still bringing my eclectic underground, genre-hopping but always four-on-the-floor style! Its also a great workout mix! Enjoy! Raysha Ray
