PART ONE: Hosts Clarence Boone and William Hosea speak with Maqube Reese and James Sanders, who present an overview of the annual State of the Black Community address. Maqube Reese is the Chair of Black History Month, and James Sanders is the Black History Month Kick-Off Chair.

PART TWO: Hosts Clarence Boone and William discuss Carmen Seiring’s article in Bloom Magazine‘s 2019 February/March edition, entitled “Bloomington’s Black Leaders of Tomorrow.” Ten outstanding students from middle school through college in the Bloomington area are featured in the article, who demonstrate a commitment to improving their own lives and the lives of others.

PART THREE: Hosts Clarence Boone and William Hosea speak with Nidhi Krishnan and Darby FitzSimmons, two students from Bloomington High School South, about their social activism with various organizations with the City of Bloomington.
