In two weeks time, the Baphiring Traditional Authority in partnership with the HRH Princess Lerato M Foundation will be launching a new psychosocial centre in the Moses Kotane Local Municipality (Mabaalstad, North West).The centre is aimed at making mental health services and support groups accessible to communities.

The centre has a dedicated team that will be supported by psychologists, pastoral counsellors and motivational speakers who will be running mental health workshops in the days running up to the launch. These workshops are aimed at debunking myths and stigmas surrounding mental health. The foundation envisions working alongside with traditional authorities to build support centres of this nature across the country.
