As black women, how we see ourselves today is largely influenced by many external factors. The images that society perpetuates, the self-image that we develop from our parents and guardians and even images buried deep within our sub-consciousness, can contribute to a negative or positive self-image. It is said, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Sadly too many of us have a negative body images. That results in us having difficulty accepting that we are a masterpiece. This false belief that we hold, can result from trauma or simply a lie. Yet, we can chose the path toward healing, find and build our confidence. Let's explore healthy loving and sex.
