HEAVY had the honour of conducting backstage interviews with a selection of bands for the final Good Things Festival show in Brisbane recently, which we are going to drip-feed you just because we can!
One of the surprise packets of the festival run was German outfit Electric Callboy, who were making their first visit to our corner of the globe.
Their reputation somewhat preceded them by virtue of the quality of their music alone, but nothing prepared Australian crowds for the scintillating live performance these masters of mayhem delivered night after night.
Their side shows sold out quickly - a feat which surprised even the band - and judging by the overwhelmingly positive reception from every gig I don't think it will be all that long before we can tempt them back over to this side of the world.
HEAVY had the pleasure of catching up with two of the boys fresh from stage in one of the best interviews of the day.
The sound quality may be affected in patches due to the interviews being recorded live with a full festival raging behind us, but sit back and enjoy the fully immersive experience of each band as they navigate the day. They are also sparsely edited for maximum effect.
