This week we invited a bunch of super creative people working in the Film/Theatre industry in the U.K to talk about their experiences navigating the film industry as black men and women. 

'No More Wings' has just been showcased at 'We Are One' Global Film Festival, written and directed by Abraham Adeyami. It tells the heartfelt story of 2 childhood friends, Jude and Isaac. You watch them as kids in the local chicken shop and as adults, split between the 2 different times in their lives. Exploring friendship and personal dreams, goals and now the different paths they are heading in. 

The heart, realism and beauty in the way it's written and the actors have played out their parts makes this story incredibly impactful, especially right now.

We sat down over zoom with the cast and crew and spoke movie making, inspiration and most importantly reflected on the racism and prejudice the industry is built on and how you navigate that.
