Ahoy hoy! While we work on bringing you more episodes, I decided to try my hand in audio commentary. Every Friday in summer I will record audio commentaries for romcoms, or as I like to call them, Romcommentaries, and digest the films in both a structured and more realistically unstructured discussion about the power of cinematic love. You can listen to the commentary while watching the film, or enjoy it as a solo piece. There are no rules. 

This week Troy tackles the emotional and hilarious 1987 classic Broadcast News. As he navigates the relationships throughout the film, Troy also contextualizes the past and present of broadcast news and discusses the careers of Albert Brooks, Holly Hunter, and James L. Brooks. If anything happens to me, you tell every woman I've ever gone out with I was talking about her at the end. That way they'll have to reevaluate me.
