The book shares personal stories from Spitler's life, including her childhood memories of growing up in Dayton, Ohio, her radio DJ jobs as a teenager, and her journey to becoming a TV personality. The book is named in honor of her late dog, Louie, who helped her recover from depression after dealing with hearing loss.
