Welcome to EP9 of JustUs with Harlem’s own Gustave Koumare. Gustave and his partner Jeremy Tucker co-founded RECESS in 2019. RECESS serves as a multicultural financial playground for disadvantaged student-athletes, to educate them on the power of financial literacy. The aim of RECESS is to generate awareness and engagement through content creation and partnering events. RECESS believes there are extreme opportunities in the timing of the current market given trends after pasts crisis. Image and likeness (NIL) amongst student-athletes has also opened a new market of entrepreneurship. Unfortunately, RECESS is aware that knowledge around basic finances, business, retaining, and growing wealth is not regularly taught. RECESS plans to change this! IG: __recesss__
