After talking about University of Georgia Wide Receiver George Pickens returning to the field at Bobby Dodd Stadium in Atlanta on Saturday against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Andy Bunker and Randy McMichael turned their attention to just how good true Freshman Tight End Brock Bowers has been this season.

“He will be one of the best to ever, not just a Tight End, to put on a Georgia uniform,” said Randy McMichael.

Randy continued, “Every time he does something different it just amazes me.”

Randy was one of and if not the best Tight End to ever play at Georgia so the praise is coming from someone who knows a thing or two about Tight Ends and what it’s like teeing it up between the hedges at Sanford Stadium.

During his true freshman regular season with Georgia, Bowers totaled 37 receptions for 652 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Bowers will look to add to historic freshman season when the Bulldogs take on the Alabama Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship this Saturday at 4pm in Atlanta.
