During the Passover, Jesus illustrated his body as broken bread. The question I have is why broken bread? Two things: bread is filling and to really indulge in it, it must be broken first before sharing. Life is full of broken moments that leave us feeling discouraged or trying to understand. I want to challenge the idea of broken bread in our lives. If we are called to be like Christ, does that mean we have to be like the bread and break?
