- The Pathway to Higher Purpose

In the story of Ruth and Naomi, we see another example of people who faced a tremendous amount of disappointment in life. After her husband and sons passed away, Naomi decided to go back to her hometown as a childless widow, with no real hope for any sort of a future. Her daughter-in-law, Ruth, (also a young widow with no prospects), decided to go with her. From this low point, God had a plan for Ruth to meet Boaz, marry him, and become part of the ancestry of Christ. What a turnaround! The lower dreams of Ruth and Naomi - merely to somehow survive and have some type of comfort, met up with God’s plan to set up the lineage of Christ. No matter what disappointment you face, If you you refuse to become offended against Him, God has a plan to lift you up and create good outcomes from your circumstances.
