- The Pathway to Higher Purpose

Even if we accept the concept that God is looking to bring His higher dream for our lives into our lower dream (earthly plans) even as those plans break apart, it’s still not easy to keep going while we wait to see what He has in store for us. The key ingredient we need to have in place in order to keep our faith engaged is hope. Hope, very simply, is the confident expectation of the goodness of God. Our typical concept of hope is that it is based on favorable circumstances, a gut feeling, or some other emotional foundation; however, true hope is a choice, a decision, to set aside any circumstantial evidence and determine that no matter what we might face, God is good, and His promise to work everything together for our good is true.
