Welcome to the first part of a deeply authentic and heartfelt conversation with my dear friend and healer, Stephanie Kennedy. Stephanie shares her remarkable journey through the challenges of sexual abuse, fertility struggles, and the profound experiences of pregnancy and infant loss, all of which have shaped her into the incredible woman and new mother she is today.

This two-part series covers a wide spectrum of emotions and experiences, exploring the “brutiful” transformation that comes from such monumental experiences leaving profound impact on our emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.

Stephanie’s journey led her to become a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor with a specialization in Sexual Abuse Counselling. Through her work, she has come to recognize the critical importance of support and community in helping women and their families heal from these deeply challenging experiences.

We also touch upon the ancestral aspects honouring the challenges our own mothers had to navigate in silence and the impact of generational trauma shedding light on the need for care and support for those who endure similar losses.
