Roses are red. Neon signs Glow. Breaking a promise to yourself hurts more than you'll ever know. Saying this will ruffle feathers, but if we genuinely think about it, breaking promises is more normal than we think. Relationships, friendships, situationships and all, trust should be the common denominator. However, what happens when we make a promise to ourselves - or rather the version of ourselves on a pedestal.
