Waiting to Exhale: This week host, Jill Collister @jilltt invites Jessica Owens to tell us of a heartbreak that turned into a gift as we also fantasize that we are as bad ass as Angela Bassett walking away from that car on fire.

Waiting to Exhale is a 1995 American drama directed by Forest Whitaker and starring Whitney Houston, Angela Bassett, Lela Rochon, and Loretta Devine. The story centers around four women living in Arizona and their relationships with men and one another. All of them are "holding their breath" until the day they can feel comfortable in a committed relationship.
