The story of Judas Iscariot is filled with lessons on what not to do in life. lol 

On a serious note however, we are to believe fully in the Son of God(Jesus) follow him faithfully to the end, always turning back to him for forgiveness, no matter what happens.

The story of Judas reminds us that nothing good can come from giving up on Jesus Christ. He is of supreme value, and following him is worth any cost.
