Thank you Ruchi Singh for your generous nomination for #PersonBehindThePassion! To me, you are inspiring and courageous and I appreciate this great honor. I consider myself to be the kind of person who steps bravely into all situations.

The passion I am currently pursuing in my life is to make bias conscious because bias is at the root of all iniquity. The impact I intend to make in the world is to build awareness of bias and its impacts because I want people to live with justice and equity.

The people that have inspired me to pursue this passion are asylum seekers I met when working on Nauru because it was there that I first came face-to-face with my own biases of racism and white privilege.
