Bronx Welcome back to "Cocktails," where we stir up both history and flavor. Today, we’re mixing a Bronx, a delightful pre-Prohibition cocktail that combines gin with both sweet and dry vermouth and a splash of orange juice for a touch of zest. The Bronx, named after the Bronx Zoo, supposedly because of its wild array of flavors, is often considered a perfect daytime cocktail. Here’s how to make a Bronx: Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 ounces of gin
- 1/4 ounce of sweet vermouth
- 1/4 ounce of dry vermouth
- 1 ounce of fresh orange juice
- Ice cubes
- An orange twist for garnish
