Functional Neurological Disorder, or FND, is not that known in the medical community or in general. The condition affects how brain networks communicate, which can affect the way a person moves, speaks, walks or thinks. Symptoms may include paralysis, functional seizures, memory issues, and extra movements. Marisol Diaz-Gordon, who is an artist diagnosed with FND, created an informative exhibit called FND Warrior, to bring awareness and express her experience with the condition.
