Naturalist and environmental writer Brooke Williams joins me with Encountering Dragonfly: Notes on The Practice of Re-Enchantment.

Two decades ago, Brooke had a dream about a dragonfly that “cracked open his world” and he started really noticing dragonflies everywhere, seemingly for the first time, beginning at the pretty pond close to his home. He’d been highly respected in the environmental community for 20 years before that encounter, and from then on he could never see—and live in—the natural world in quiet the same way as he profoundly realized the continuum between our inner psyche and the outer world.
