This week the Senate has two huge jobs, hold an impeachment trial and pass life saving disaster relief for Americans suffering from coronavirus and its effects on the economic, social and health being unfairly born by the working/middle class.

The Democrats are demanding Trump be held accountable for trying to overturn a free and fair election and working to pass Biden's relief package while Republicans are left trying to ignore a violent and murderous attack on the Capitol while refusing to vote for any immediate aid claiming more time is needed to determine the necessity.

Trump's self-defense is exactly that, a defense only about him that blames the insurgents who failed to give him an illegal win  while ripping the GOP into one pro-business side and one that is an openly pro-fascist faction.
