He sat in with us as our first official guest to catch up & chop it up as a fellow “Washed God”. Taji made his return to the pod. Happy to have him back. Draft spent his week “not complaining”. Sean is still navigating through the troubled waters of his work environment. All & all we’re all well. The city of Atlanta has been wild’n lately. Two shootings in the same week. One at Lenox mall. The other off Candler rd. Atlanta’s crime rate has to be at an all time high. Speaking of “Heights”. The movie “The Heights” is under fire for it’s representation of a certain type of Latin-X people. I.E. Light-skinned & curly haired. How you all feel? Because none of us are watching it. Destiny’s Child is on the hot seat for their song “Cater To You” 17 years after it’s release. The opinion of the day is that the song encourages negative stereotypes about black women. We touched on Clarissa Shields making the transition from Boxing to MMA. And the larger conversation about the future of celebrity fight sports.
