In this third program of LATINXTRANSFER, I summon sorceresses who channel prowess and tenderness in their music. Latina artists in the United States have particularly embraced the word 'Bruja' as a term of empowerment and as a big middle finger to the establishment. From Bogotá to Los Angeles, Washington Heights and Santurce, here I share a very personal selection of new tracks and some songs that are almost two decades old. And on a loop in my head: "Gotta get up, gotta get out, gotta get home before the morning comes..."
