The CPSC and Brushx have recalled BrushX Hot Air Brushes.  These electric brushes do not have an immersion protection device and that omission creates a shock and electrocution hazard for a the user should the brush fall into water while plugged in and energized.  About 100 thousand of these brushes were sold online at mybrushx.com.  If you bought one of them, immediately discontinue using it.  You can obtain a safe, upgraded product free of charge by sending proof of destruction of yours to [email protected].  That proof is a photo of the brush with the power cord cut.  BTW, don’t forget to unplug the brush before cutting the cord.
