Bryan Ellis is the Community Garden Director for the Community Garden Initiative at The University Church on Hill Avenue in Toledo. Bryan will talk about the impact of The Garden’s threefold mission: to grow food and distribute it to nearby families in need, to grow awareness about the high level of poverty in Lucas County, and to grow compassion toward others with the church and within the community and to create positive change.
