Steven Moeckel, Concertmaster of the Phoenix Symphony and Santa Fe Opera, joins BTS to talk about his recent win with the Santa Fe Opera, and the long process of getting the position -- plus the difference between American and European auditions. Steven describes what it takes to be a concertmaster, what it’s like being on the other side of the screen listening to auditions, and gives great advice to young aspiring concertmasters.
