With the disclosure by 26 year old gunman Rock Dagenais who, this past April entered the Saint-Laurent school in Buckingham demanding to be taken before a classroom of students, that his motives were the result of (at least in part) his being bullied in school as a child, reflects a growing issue within the public educatuion system.
While the incidences of bullying covers a broad range, such as the young kindergarten student at another Buckingham school who was viciously bitten by a classmate leaving visible scars both physically and emotionally, the real question is simply this . . . who is reasponsible for addressing the problem?
While many parents look to the school system to take action, in reality there is a growing consensus that it is in fact the parents who are ultimately the source of both the problem and the solution in terms of bullying.
In a special PI Window replay of a guest panel discussion that includes 5 time bestselling author Larry Winget (Your Kids Are Your Own Fault and Shut Up, Stop Whining & Get A Life), the issue of bullying in school and in the workplace is tackled head on in this 60 minute segment.
