Episode 35 - Deputy City Manager Micah Grau talks about why Buda is pursuing certification as a Dark Sky Community from the International Dark Sky Association as an affirmation of the City’s efforts to reduce light pollution and to protect one of our greatest natural assets, our night sky. The City’s Sustainability Commission is leading this effort to provide more educational resources on dark skies to the community. The City Council recently adopted changes to the City’s lighting regulations in support of this initiative.
