This is Part 25 of my recital of the Jain Sūtras. In this episode, we'll finish reading about "Pranipāta Sūtra," then read about "Samāpti Sūtra." Samāpti means "conclusion" and, indeed, this episode will conclude the Jain Sūtras recitals on Edward Reib's "Buddhist Books" Podcast. Finally, we'll read the Appendix of Samayik Sutra, the book we've been reading which contains all of these Sūtras. The Appendix explains how to perform a complete Sāmāyika, in which the aspirant recites all of the Jain Sūtras discussed in these past 25 episodes.
