Ajahn Brahm talks about the Buddhist idea of consciousness. Ajahn compares this with Aristotle's view of the mind as "the common sense" (amongst all the senses), and how this has caused Western philosophy to become materialistic, causing Western society to be one "where things are more important than feelings or people." Talk given on Ajahn's visit to Buddhist Society of Victoria (BSV), in June 2015
