Budgeting

Listen Later

you reach the point where you start to make money, and you can now buy the things you dreamed of buying. Not exactly as yet. the first money you make won't be able to buy all the things you want it maybe only be able to buy the things you need to survive to the next month. but if you properly plan on how you spend the money you make you'll be able to separate the needs vs wants pay off the needs and then properly analyze if the wants are worth purchasing or is it better to save that extra money left after spending on your needs for a later date so you can purchase a bigger want. So that's where budgeting comes in. when you create a budget where you lay out how what your needs are and the cost of those needs and your wants when you get your paycheck you can quickly have that budget as reference  to say " this paycheck is going towards my needs this month and the rest to savings because its not going to be a lot after saving" or " this is going towards my needs but I will have enough to purchase two wants this month for the third purchase I'll have to save my left over paycheck for 3 months" or you can say " oh my needs have raised in cost let me update my budget so that when I get my paycheck its the new price I see on my budget when I am doing my calutions so when its time to purchase they don't say sorry you have insuffiectent funds. That's what the budget is for you can try to start it your self or get a professional to help you with it.

my experience a budget becomes needed with high income over 10,000 if your monthly purchase is less than that and income a simple list will do rather than a big budget
