Denver’s defence forced key stops and a late interception in OT set up the game-winning field goal, while the Bills’ resilient effort ultimately fell just short, and ultimately led to Buffalo moving on from Sean McDermott. The Seahawks absolutely dominated the 49ers, the final score a being a humiliating 41-6 for the top seed. From a 95-yard kickoff return for a touchdown to a suffocating defensive performance, Seattle made a statement and punched their ticket to the NFC Championship in emphatic fashion. Sunday’s AFC action saw the Patriots take control in Foxborough against the Texans, securing a 28-16 that saw as many interceptions as it did touchdowns! To cap the weekend off, the Rams held their nerve in a classic overtime thriller versus the Bears winning 20-17 after a late game-tying score, and a decisive field goal in extra time.
