Philip Rivers backs out. Mike McDaniel doesn’t even interview. That doesn’t happen unless people see instability. When your owner sounds emotional at the podium, coaches notice. I think Buffalo made a panic move and now they’re paying for it.

From there, I get into Deion Sanders and why Coach Prime is doing real work at Colorado. You can nitpick wins and losses all you want, but structure, accountability, and development matter. He’s building young men, not just depth charts.

• Stefon Diggs audio — still that guy, still productive, still changing offenses. He’s helped Drake Maye, helped New England, and a 1,000-yard season on 85 catches doesn’t lie.
I close with Sean McVay and Matthew Stafford, and a simple point: if you watch three and a half hours of football and the best question you can ask is whether Stafford should still be around, that’s not analysis necause it's lazy.
