On the eve of the announcement of the 2019 Polaris Prize long list, we replay our interviews with two artists that had a big stake in the 2018 prize!

First, we speak with former Winnipegger, now Montreal producer BUFFLO who served as a producer on the 2018 Polaris winner, Jeremy Dutcher's Wolastoqiyik Lintuwakonawa.

We also speak with 2018 shortlisters Snotty Nose Rez Kids, who are in town to play Old Market Square for this year's Jazz Festival. Their new record Trapline should be a shoe-in for this year's long list of nominees.
