My best investment is in my education. Having gone to business school and law school, those were money well-spent to get me to where I am today. And also, the money spent on networking organizations to get me connected to real estate and investment professionals have really shaped the way I view investing and the way that I approach life. I view things through the lens of relationships, what is awesome as it pertains to real estate is that real estate is really a relationships business. Relationships helps you build a great team and work with great people.

Brian’s Worst Investment

I heard this quote: either I am successful or I learn. The idea being even if I made a bad investment so long as I take the time to learn from it, that is money well spent. It was a day-trading stock investment course. It was instructive but I never really applied any of it so that might have been my worst investment.
