I have been reading the book Atomic Habits.
I've implemented a couple of the techniques from the book and it's really changed my life over the past few weeks.
I wanted to drop a note about some of the techniques I use to build in better habits.
1. Set a date and time for the habit you want (ie. At 8:00a I will practice my scales)
2. Habit stacking. (ie. after my scales I will study a language, then I will do 5 minutes of yoga)
3. Set a timer! Want to practice for 25 minutes? Don't eyeball it. Set a timer and sit down (or stand up) and work!
Let's build some great habits together so that we can all become better singers and make singing every day a habit!
