Build on the Rock, Jesus. Mainly, leaning into his teaching of the Love for God and his creation. Forgiveness and repentance are also an integral aspect of His teaching we need to fully comprehend and practice.

I compared Matthew 7 with Matthew 16.  The Wiseman who built his life on the Rock and Peter, who is the Rock and foundation of the whole Christian church.

 I don't think we should take Peter's role in salvation history lightly as Christ trusted him with the nourishment and leadership of the christian people once Christ had ascended.  Thank you for any prayers you may offer for me, my family, and the fruitfulness of The Old Is New. Peace
