In 2018 the NAR (National Association of Realtors) Member profile showed that 82% of the members are white while for the US population, it is closer to 60% of the population. What is even more interesting, is that of the top 25 markets in the US, 21 are majority-minority in their ethnic & racial demographics. The abovementioned information clearly indicates a need for diversity in both the agent and broker population.
