The challenges to building a talent pipeline in government are not new, but they remain a huge part of human capital management in the public sector. Though its opportunities for career development and relative security separate public service from the private sector, government continues to struggle to cultivate young leadership. Building a talent pipeline will be crucial for the federal government to continue to modernize and serve the public mission.
