The foundation on which we build a life long relationship with our children has to be strong. We all want to help our children and guide them in ways that will lead them to make good decisions and avoid heartache. But those conversations happen when we purposefully put in the work to build the communication channels beforehand and assure our kids that we are on their team as coaches and guides. Jim Burwell has learned these lessons from his own experience as a father and as a youth leader.
