What could our earthly worship possibly add to this picture of perfection? As we explore this question over the coming series, let us consider Abraham. In and out of season, Genesis records him building an altar to the Lord. These were intentional acts of worshipful devotion; establishing places of encounter, remembrance, and surrender.
