There is a new way on the planet for how we're meant to create and lead in our businesses—one that allows for flow, creativity, intuition and play. I've seen too many clients, and myself included, who have tried to follow the masses. Oftentimes, it's gotten us completely off course and left us feeling depleted, overwhelmed and frustrated with not fully honoring our soul's purpose and doing business authentically. Alicia has been there, too. In this episode, she discusses the wake up calls that she's received in building 2 coaching practices that weren't fully aligned. Be sure to check out the link below and join me for a special workshop that I'm leading on August 24th that discusses this exact topic.
Alicia Hopkins is the host of the Wake Up Call podcast, a show dedicated to helping others learn to prioritize their wellbeing – mind, body, and soul. Alicia’s experience with anxiety was the “wake up call” that forced her to take a closer look at her life and how she was living it. She is passionate about sharing the lessons learned from her experience with anxiety and helping others ditch perfectionism, people-pleasing, and external validation so they can start living a life with more ease and enjoyment. Alicia works in healthcare sales, is a writer, coach, animal lover, and outdoor enthusiast. She lives in Sarasota, FL with her husband, Marcus and furbaby, Bear.
In this episode, we discuss:
✨ Alicia's past battle with anxiety due to high stress and seeking constant acceptance and approval.
✨ Doing online business your way, not the way you think you're supposed to.
✨ Alicia's journey with building two separate coaching practices because she thought that's what she thought she was "supposed" to do.
✨ The rollercoaster of emotions that brought her to the valuable lesson of learning to connect to what's authentically calling you, even if you have no idea "how" to do it.
✨ "It's not always about leading from where will that next dollar come from."
✨ The key things that Alicia did to support herself during these massive shifts.
