In this episode, we get to speak with Paisley Smith. Paisley is a virtual reality creator and filmmaker. She is a Civic Media Fellow at the University of Southern California, and currently leads Unity for Humanity, a project that funds impact-oriented creations that leverage the Unity game engine.

Gavan and Paisley talk about a variety of ways one can create positive change through game technology, how we can challenge our cultural assumptions while crafting worlds, and the timeless power of the humble animated GIF.

They also touch on Paisley's world building work with Feminist Futures and her VR art projects Unceded Territories and Homestay.
