Boundaries are important in every family. And without them, chaos ensues!
Boundaries are those parameters or fences that define our own space. They describe what’s ours and what’s not. They make distinctions between what’s okay and what isn’t.
When you establish boundaries in your home, you’re actually leading your family to a place that is respectful, orderly and relational. You determine the strength of these boundaries and rules, and your teen needs to respect them.
Eventually, with a healthy set of boundaries in place at home, your teen will learn self-control. They’ll discover a sense of confidence because they know the lines, they know who they are and who they’re not.
