In this episode of the Art of Building Championship Podcast, we discuss The Portland trailblazers and their rebuild.
Segment 1: A fresh startThe Portland Blazers this offseason decided it was their time to start their rebuild by getting the second overall pick and trading away their best player Damien Lillard for Jrue holiday and picks. The Blazers then proceeded to trade away Holiday to the Celtics for Malcokm Brodgan Robert WIlliams and future picks.
Segment 2: The draft. The Blazers with the #2 overall pick decided to select Scoot Henderson of ou the G league Ignite. Henderson has not been everything Portland has expected to start the season as he is struggling greatly from the 3-point line. The Blazers hope that this is just rookie slums as Henderson has shown some potential, but it hasn’t looked great. The Blazers also hope that thier young guards Simmons and Sharp can take another step moving forward becoming all starts in the future.
Segment 3: The final touches on their rebuildThe Blazers also decided that they wanted more size and they traded away their center Nurkic for Deandre Ayton to try to get younger and maybe give the 1 option to Ayton to see what he is made of or for future trade value The Blazers are now I a great spot for a rebuild they have all of their pieces they need to get trade pieces when their young players start to shine.

You are listening to the Art of Building Championship podcast with your host(s) Ethan Peck.
In this episode of the Art of Building Championship Podcast, we discuss The Los Angeles Lakers and their legacy.
Segment 1: All-Time Great LakersThe Lakers Are one of if not the best franchises in NBA history they are always able to get some of the greatest players ever on thier rosters. This makes the LAkers always a very interesting team to watch. With a lot of young and old watching now some consider the goat, Lebron James. They have also had some of the best players ever in Kareem Shaq and Kobe Byrant.
Segment 2: The Most ChampionshipsThe Lakers are also tied for the most championships of all time. Some of this success has to come from the high market and general management. As the general manager of the Lakers, your job is to bring in big names to the city of Los Angeles.

In this episode of the Are of Building Championships Podcast, we discuss the Phoenix Suns and their rebuild.
Segment 1: Devan BookerDevan Booker was selected 13th overall in the 2015 overall draft. Devan Booker has been the saving grace for the Suns and for his first few years with the Suns, he was one of the only bright spots on the whole team. The Suns knew they had a great young player in their hands and needed to make some moves to win. At first, the Suns decided to trade Kelly Obure and pick Chris Paul.
Segment 2: Title runThe Suns went through a complete flip in the matter of one season where they missed the playoffs the next year they acquired Chris Paul, made the finals, and actually had a 2-0 lead on the Bucks. They had a completely different change in culture even though they had come up short in the NBA finals. The Suns would run it back for another year being dominant in the regular season but falling apart in game 7 of the semi-conference round. This would eventually lead to the Suns making the trade for Kevin Durant mid-season.
Segment 3: Different teamThe Suns thought their championship window was closing and it is now for sure with an older Kevin Durant on your team. The Suns went home again in the second round with KD this led to the Suns trading Chris Paul and bringing in Bradley Beal from the Wizards to be their third scorer. A lot of people were not happy with everything the Suns have done completely new teams besides Booker being the only player from that run. Personally, I think they did too much trying to become a winning team when they should’ve just kept their young core and traded Chirs Paul

OKC epic rebuild
Episode #5
You are listening to the Art of Building Chamonships the podcast with your host Ethan Peck.
In this episode of The Art of Building Championships the Podcast, we discuss the Oklahoma City Thunder and Their rebuild.
Segment 1: The start of the rebuildOKC had been sent home in the second round for the second straight year. The OKC Thunder know this won’t work with their current roster. After Dame Lillard sent the OKC home Paul Geogre was traded for 5 first-round rounds picks and their franchise player SGA. This turned out to be a huge win trade for the OKC big home run. After getting rid of Paul George, OKC really had no choice, but to trade Russel Westbrook as well to the Houston Rockets for Chris Paul and 2 first-round picks with 2 pick swaps.
Segment 2: Rebuilding in the Draft.OKC was able to do so many draft picks with their own and other teams. They were bound to hit on one of these draft picks. They were able to pick up Luo Dort. He was an undrafted rookie in 2019 and became a good 3 and d player for OKC. In 2021 they were able to hit on their first draft pick drafting Josh Gidey. Josh Gidey his rookie year showed good potential. The following year OKC drafted a big prospect in Chet Holgrum # 2 overall, who would unfrochally miss his whole rookie year due to injury.
Segment 3: Where they lay right now.OKC has started their new season looking good their rebuild is still in effect, with Chet Holgrum making his return from injury this season and looking like a rookie of the year candidate. SGA having a great season making himself known as a top 5 guard in the NBA averaging 29 points to start the season. With Josh Gidey averaging a very good 14, 7, and 6. OKC is currently 7-4 and 5 in the west as they look to return to the playoffs for the first time since the bubble in 2020.

The art of building championships
The Raptors remarkable year
Episode #4
You are listening to the Art of Building Championships the podcast with your host Ethan Peck.
In this episode of the Art of Building Championships Podcast, we discuss The Toronto Raptors and their remarkable championship run.
Segment 1: All inThey traded one of their best players in franchise history Demar Derozen, for Kahwi Leonard and Danny Green. The Raptors also were bringing in a rookie coach Nick Nurse. This was a very important year. As Kawhi Leonard has expressed he will leave in free agency after this year. This was a championship-or-bust type year for the Raptors. The Raptors figured this out quickly into the regular season at the trade deadline they were to trade for a big man Marc Gasol.
Segment 2: The clutch shotThe Raptors ended the season as the two seed ready for a postseason run. They played the Orlando Magic in the first round. The first game of the postseason didn’t go in Toronto’s favor, as they lost game 1 of the first round. After this game, the Raptors stopped messing around and turned it around, and won 4 straight winning the series 4-1. They then played the 76ers in the second round this was by far their hardest match of the whole playoffs as the Sixers were stacked this year. This series went to game 7 in the final seconds of game 7, and Kahwi Lenoard hit the shot of his lifetime ending the Sixers season winning in game 7.
Segment 3 The final runThe Raptors were one series away from a finals appearance. They played the Bucks and quickly went down 2-0. The Raptors made some adjustments and won 4 straight to beat the Bucks in six games. They were onto the finals where they played a banged-up Warriors team. The Raptors went up 3-1 before Golden State could get healthy leading to the Raptors first championship in Franchise history. The offseason was huge for the Raptors as they lost their best player Kahwi Lenard most people knew this coming into the offseason, So it makes it even nicer the Raptors were able to win.

In this episode of Art of building championships the Podcast we discuss: The phileadapha 76ers, and how they wern’t able to complete a rebuild and where the went wrong.
Segment 1: The start of the rebuildI want to look at all of the draft pick the 76ers went though. As i want to see how different pick couldve changed the whole situation The sixers whole rebuild was about having high draft pick in hopes on getting multiple star players, This didn’t really end up in Philly’s favor
Segment 2: Where they went wrongWhat they couldve have done to change things, were trade went wrong and most importantly where the draft went wrong A few of the top of my head would be Markelle Fultz and tradin Mikal bridges on draft night. If these picks had been diffrent the sixers would be in a much better spot.
Segment 3: What they can do make it betterWhat they can do to dig themselves out of that hole they are currently in. The 76ers need to trade James Harden and move on. They need delvop maxey and have Joel Embiid hold the team down If they are able to get somthing for him they might be able to make some nose at the trade deadline

In this episode of the Art of Building Championships Podcast, we discuss The Brooklyn Nets and their failed rebuilds.
Segment 1: Free agencyKevin Durant and Kyrie Irving joined the Nets in free agency on big agent deals The first year with this new Kevin Durant was out with a season-ending injury with his aclhies tendent Kyrie Irving was hurt and there his first year in Brooklyn
Segment 2: The Super teamThe next year the Nets now had their full roster with their brand new duo. The Nets looked like a good team, but it didn’t really look like a championship roster Once James Harden was put on the trade block and was traded to the Nets for Jaret Allen and Caris Levert.
Segment 3: The beginning of the endJames Harden was traded to the 76ers for Ben Simmons Seth Curry and Andre Drummond. This would lead to KD and Kyrie both requesting trades soon after. At first, they tried to work it out and stay on the team but the following season they were both traded. Kevin Durant to the suns and kyrie to the mavericks

In this episode of the Art of Championships Podcast, we discuss __The Golden State Warriors and their championship runs.
Segment 1: The DraftIn the first segment, I will be talking about the Golden State Warriors. They started by getting Stephen Curry in 2009 with the 7th overall pick he was a risky pick at first as Curry had lots of injuries his first few seasons. This paid off greatly they then followed this pick up they drafted Klay Thompson in 2011 with the 11th pick.
Segment 2: Kevin DurantText or script goes here. You can also include any links mentioned in your show that you want people to check out My second segment Kevin Durant joins the Warrios and the Warrios destroyed in the playoffs They were able to go 8-1 in the finals the next two years they were able. The following year the Warriors made it back to the finals even with a Kevin Durant injury. He was scheduled to come back in game 5 and the Warriors were down 3-1 series Kevin Durant came back he was playing amazing
Segment: 3 The next chapter
The Warriors looked like to were in a rebuild as they had the worst record in the league getting the second overall pick in the draft where they drafted James Wiseman, But Klay Thompson missed the next two seasons due to injuries. The Warriors with their first year back fully healthy had a new star on the team in Jordan Poole. The Warriors were able to go back to finals and beat the Celtics earning their fourth ring in this era.
