At 43 years old God called Bishop Richard Johnson to leave tradition, and his father in law's church, where he served for over 20 years - and start building Destiny.  With only his wife by his side and a congregation of their 3 children - Destiny Church has grown to overflowing it's Sunday services, is influential in it's impact on the city, draws the attention of mega Church Pastors, is an example of excellence, and a Church defined by love.
